About the Event
The long ride is the staple of your triathlon training plan. A weekend long ride is a must. However fitting in a mid-week long ride is cycling nirvana #prohours.
We will clock up about 110km of some of Sydneys most scenic riding and be at work in the city by 10am. Keep in mind that long rides are variable in their nature - traffic, flat tyres, how many twists in your latte and if someone wants their banana bread toasted. Suggest you don't schedule a meeting for 10am, but the plan is to be back a little after 9.40 ...ish.
5.30am - York Rd Gates, Centennial Pak
7.00 (roughly) - Pittwater Rd CNR Elimatta Rd, Warriewood
Please ensure you have adequate water and food for the ride. You must carry 2 spare tubes, tyre levers and a pump - an actual pump (gas is ok in addition to a pump). Before you ride please pump your tyres up to about 100psi.
